Tulane Business Competition
April 18, 2008
Mark your calendars! The official date for the 2007 Tulane Business
Plan Competition has been set. Like last year, we have decided to create two
categories for entry. Entrants may only participate on one track.
Business Entrepreneurship Track
Plans presented under the
Business Entrepreneurship track must be for-profit ventures. No restrictions
apply regarding the business industry or sector.
Social Entrepreneurship Track
Plans presented under the Social
Entrepreneurship track can either be profit or not-for-profit ventures. They
should be designed specifically to address a social, environmental or economic
problem, producing a positive and identifiable impact to the community. Winning
ventures to be implemented in the New Orleans area will have access to a pool of
highly qualified professional services, to assist them during their start-up
process.
For each track the following prizes will be awarded:
Grand Prize: $10,000 Second Place: $5,000
Third Place: $2,500
